Smooth Transition of Board of Trustees
We are pleased to announce the smooth and successful transition of the Eritrean Orthodox Christian (Debre Sahl St. Michael’s) Community Church (EOCCC)’s board of trustees. The new seasoned members of The Board of Trustees appointed on the 16th of February 2019 have conducted several meetings with the Management Committee members and Admin staffs before this official transition process.
The whole process was to ensure effective transition and enhance solid and wider understanding of the congregation and governance in light of the constitution and applicable regulations. Our church and community administrator and members of the Management Committee profoundly thanked the ex-board of trustees for their tireless dedication and achievements during their spell as members of The Board of Trustees. The EOCCC believe that this was special but also historic milestone in the governance of the Community Church, the whole congregation is looking forward to work together for the bright future of the Eritrean community in UK.
The official transition took place on the 13th of April 2019 at our Church office. The new members of The Board of trustees are due to be introduced to the members of EOCCC in the coming weeks.
